Parents are still concerned about a relocated bus stop in Cockeysville on the first day back to class for Baltimore County students.

The bus stop at Mandel Way and Shawan Road is close to the on ramp for I-83.

Children as young as five years old will wait for the bus along the busy Shawan Road. It’s a concern that was previously raised with the county.

"They changed some of the bus stops this year in Batlimore County and as you can hear, people drive really fast here and we're concerned about the safety of our children," Joshua Taylor, a parent, said.

Parents said they’re considering having two or three adults wait with the students each day.

The transportation office director told ABC2 the bus stop’s location will be reviewed again next week.
