Synthetic marijuana is to blame for one Marylander's bleeding and hospitalization earlier this week.
That's according to state health officials, who say the drug, also known as "spice," is extremely dangerous and should never be used.
They say the person's symptoms are similar to dozens of cases in the Chicago region, reported over the last three weeks.
At least two of those cases were deadly.
