Multitasking is sometimes the best way to get everything done. A new study shows taking on too much at once hurts productivity and comprehension abilities.
The researchers made the conclusion by looking at brain function after people watched scenes from "Star Wars", "Indiana Jones" and "James Bond".
Some of the people watched six minutes of each movie. Others watched the same scenes in 50-second clips.
The groups that watched the longer scenes did a better job of making sense of what they saw after the test.
Researchers came to the conclusion that comprehension trouble can lead to depression, concentration problems and stress.
