She found love twice in a lifetime and now Holly Gainsboro wants you to walk with her to cure brain tumors.

She married the man of her dreams. Then one night he took the wrong turn in life.

Holly told her husband Steve, “You need to go see the doctor”.

It was a brain tumor. Twenty-two months later, at the age of 53, he was gone.

"That man fought harder than anyone I have ever seen in my entire life," Holly said. "He was a true warrior and I was very blessed to have had him in my life for the time that I did."

Holly has since remarried. Every second of the day she thinks back. Every second of the day she thinks ahead.

She's working to raise awareness for brain tumors. The first annual Baltimore Brain Tumor Walk is Sept. 10 at the Canton Waterfront. Her goal is to raise $100,000. Click here to donate or find out more.
