If you're a diabetic, there's a new reason to get the flu shot besides preventing the flu.
Researchers in England studied the vaccine's effect on adults with Type 2 diabetes over seven years.
They found diabetics who got their flu shot had fewer hospital visits for heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, pneumonia and the flu.
These patients even had a lower risk of early death for any reason.
