Could a conversation with your child's doctor help prevent a tragedy?
The author of a new study say talking with your child's pediatricians about gun safety may help keep kids safe, but this doesn't happen enough.
Only 13 percent of parents reported having this conversation, even 3 out of 4 say they would be open to it.
So parents, if you own a gun, tell your pediatrician and have a talk about gun safety.
