Importance of cervical health screenings

January is Cervical Health Awareness Month. It's a chance for women to make health a priority and get screened. 

In 2004, Deborah Meade noticed a lump in her neck. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Meade was aggressive with her treatment. 

Meade is one of thousands of women who have fought and beat the disease. Cervical cancer is one of the most common causes of cancer deaths for American women, but that has changed over time.
