Health officials have been stressing concerns of the mosquito borne illness Zika for months and have come up with creative ways to spread the word.
The Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF) in Florida designed two billboards to inform the public that mosquito bites are not the only was to contract Zika.
Standing a couple of feet in the air, the billboards depict an unrolled condom that said "prevents Zika transmission." The advertisements caused quite the stir and were removed.
AHF said removing the billboards jeopardizes public health and blamed local officials, who said they had no part in removing the billboards.
