FREDERICK COUNTY — Frederick Police say that a victim was shot multiple times and taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition in Frederick County.
Upon investigation, it was determined that the shooting took place in an apartment on the 300 block of Fieldpointe Drive. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released from the hospital.
Statements given by witnesses indicated that the victim and suspect knew one another.
A short time later, police arrested 19-year-old Marcus Lequell Boone and charged him with 2nd Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Discharging a Firearm Within City Limits, Possession of a Firearm by a Minor and Altering Physical Evidence.
