Earth Day is coming up on Sunday and preschoolers at The Goodard School have been celebrating Mother Earth all week long.
Kids at Goddard Schools across the country have been learning about the environment and what it means to be a good environmental steward as part of their Root for Earth initiative. During the week, the preschoolers participated in a range of activities like a recycled runway fashion show, creating recycled garden art and sculptures, as well as other eco-friendly projects.

The Goddard School in Owings Mills had students work together to plant flowers, herbs, and vegetables. The school says that when children build together, they explore math and science concepts as well as develop their social and early literacy skills.
