New bill would allow students to go to school on Presidents Day

Presidents Day and Easter Monday could soon be school days for some students in Maryland.

A new bill would allow local school districts to choose whether students should be kept in class for those days.

Gov. Larry Hogan's executive order requiring that schools start after Labor Day has led to the bill.
