Mayor Pugh has announced a new youth coding partnership aimed at connecting students who know how to code with job opportunities.
The extended partnership connects the Code in the Schools organization with the Department of General Services and the Mayor's office of Information Technology.
Through the partnership, Code in the Schools will be able to create a pipeline to provide city agencies and other agencies with tech talent.
The partnership will also help students in Baltimore develop their skills and teach them how to apply those skills in their prospective careers.
