Man shot multiple times in Havre de Grace, police investigate

HAVRE DE GRACE, md. — Harford County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are investigating, and a man is recovering, after a shooting in Havre de Grace late Friday night.

Just before midnight, a man was shot in the 4100 block of Gravel Hill Road. Deputies say Paul Hartman, Jr., 31, was shot in the upper body. Police say Hartman was at home when he noticed someone outside. When he went to investigate the situation, several more suspects appeared and attempted to gain entry to the residence. The suspects fired at the door, striking Mr. Hartman multiple times.

He was taken to the hospital for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects ran from the scene in the direction of Earlton Road. They have not been found. One suspect may be a man in a grey sweatshirt, possibly wearing a black mask.
