$60K-$100K worth of narcotics seized in Frederick, two arrested

FREDERICK, Md. — Meth, marijuana edibles, Molly, and more were found during four different search warrants in Frederick on Wednesday.

According to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, a massive amount of narcotics valued around $60,000-$100,000 were seized, and also led to the arrest of two men, 24-year-old Ryan Given Young and 23-year-old Andrew Justice Brown.

An original warrant was summoned for a house in the 5300 block of Regal Court, but the culmination of the investigation led to a total of four search warrants.

The following items were found during the multiple warrants:

  • Marijuana: 2576.8 grams
  • Molly (Methylenedioxymethamphetamine): 1236.8 grams
  • Crack/Cocaine: 290.6 grams
  • Marijuana Wax: 237.4 grams
  • Marijuana Hash: 31 grams
  • Marijuana Edibles: 1000 grams
  • THC Vape Cartridges: 332
  • Individual Methadone pills: 4
  • Handguns: 3
  • Rifle: 1
  • Rounds of ammunition: 1,000
  • $14,078 in cash

Young is now facing 19 different charges related to the bust and Brown is facing eight. Both have additional charges because the house where the drugs were found was within 1,000 feet of a school zone.
