Suspected heroin dealers arrested in Flintstone

Two Baltimore men have been charged for distributing heroin from Baltimore City to Allegany County, according to Maryland State Police.

Karl Chambers, 27 and Jason McCray, 35, were arrested Wednesday after troopers pulled over their car on Interstate 68 in Flintstone.

It was part of a heroin distribution investigation and authorities believed the car was being used to transport heroin from Baltimore.

After a search, 300 grams of suspected heroin with an estimated value of $54,000 was found hidden inside the car. 

Chambers and McCray were charged with possession of heroin and possession with intent to distribute heroin. They could face additional charges as the investigation continues to unfold.

Both men are being held without bail in the Allegany County Detention Center.
