Man arrested after double stabbing in Rockville

A man was arrested after police say he stabbed two people in Rockville. 

Police said there were called to the 400 block of N. Horners Lane after a report of an assault and stabbing Thursday night. When they got to the scene they found two people with stab wounds or cuts and a third person with lesser injuries. 

The third person, Dakota Shaynne Jones, retreated into the home when police got there and said he had a gun. The Montgomery County Police Emergency Response Team were able to get Jones out of the house and arrest him. 

The two people with stab wounds were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. 

Jones has been charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, and reckless endangerment. 

Police have not released any information as to what lead to the stabbing.
