The Howard County State's Attorney announced an arrest in a restaurant looting that occurred after the Ellicott City flood last summer.
Monday, Madeline Eve Scott, 30, of Ellicott City plead guilty to 4th degree burglary in looting of the Portalli's restaurant on July 31, 2016.

Assistant State's Attorney, Dillon Yeong said that one of the Portalli's owners saw Scott with four liquor bottles before confronting her near his restaurant.
During the confrontation, Scott threw one bottle at the owner's arm before fleeing. The owner was able to recover the other three bottles.
Circuit Court Judge Lenore R. Gelfman ordered Scott to issue apology letters to the restaurant owners and was sentenced to three days in jail and while placed under 18 months of supervised probation.
