Police are searching for suspects wanted in back-to-back armed robberies of two Columbia gas stations.
The suspects first targeted the Exxon Station in the 8200 block of Snowden River Parkway around 2:30 a.m. on May 3. Police said they entered the gas station with their faces partially covered, displayed a gun and demanded cash and cigarettes. The employee complied and the suspects fled.
A little more than two hours later police believe the same suspects struck another Exxon Station in the 8800 block of Centre Park Drive. One suspect showed a gun and demanded cash. Before fleeing, the suspects also stole a wallet from a gas station customer.
Police described the suspects as a white male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and white shoes, and a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan shoes.
