Laurel Police are investigating an ATM skimming device that was found at a 7-Eleven Monday morning.
The store is located on Route 197 near Route 198.
Police want to remind citizens that "when you approach an ATM or any device where you are using your credit/debit card, check for obvious signs of tampering at the device. If something looks different, such as a different color or material, don't use that ATM."
If you suspect an ATM or other device in the area has been tampered with, please notify the business and call Laurel Police at 301-498-0092.
