Howard County Police have charged three men in a series of home burglaries that took place this month.

German Jossue Perez-Espinoza, 18, of the 8200 block of Glen Court in Jessup; 19-year-old Malik Ka'onte Holloman of the 8300 block of Stickley Court in Jessup; and 19-year-old Aleister Terrill of the 10000 block of Vista Road in Columbia have been charged.

The men face burglary, theft, destruction of property and handgun violations charges.

Police began investigating string of burglaries earlier in December, determining as many as ten cases throughout the county could be linked.

Officers in the Glenelg area observed three suspicious subjects leaving a residence with backpacks on Sharp Road on Monday. Further investigation revealed the home had been burglarized, according to police.

The three men were stopped and officers noticed property in their possession that had been taken from the home, including two guns. The men were taken into custody.

According to police, search warrants were issued at the suspects' homes, where property believed to have been stolen from earlier burglaries had been found.

Detectives are investigating the incidents and expect to file additional charges.

All three men are being held at the Howard County Detention Center on $500,000 bond.
