Ellicott City’s Phoenix Emporium restaurant in the 8000 block of Main Street was robbed Tuesday night.

Howard County Police said an unknown suspect broke in through a side door and stole carpentry tools as well as a laptop and checks from an office.

Restaurant owners posted the news to Facebook saying the stolen tools were being used to rebuild the restaurant after experiencing flood damage.

“I don't know where we go from here, but we will keep going,” the owners said.
