An inmate at the Dorsey Run Correctional Facility in Jessup walked away from a road crew in Thursday morning, the state Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services said.
A warrant has been issued for Andrew Losiewski's arrest.
State and local police have been notified, as well as the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services Warrant Apprehension Unit, according to a press release.
Losiewski, 27, is serving five years for theft. He is a white male about 5'9 and 170 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911.
