Police: Delivery driver shot, killed during attempted robbery in Edgewood

EDGEWOOD, Md. — The Harford County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting death of a food delivery driver in Edgewood Sunday night.

Deputies say around 8:30 p.m. deputies were called to the 700 block of Monticello Court after a reported shooting. When they got to the scene, they found 34-year-old Timothy Wayne Youngquist who was working in the area as a food delivery driver.

Deputies saw Youngquist was shot and began life saving measures before he was taken to the hospital. He was later pronounced dead.

Three men were seen running from the crime scene, but no suspects were found after a helicopter and K9 search.

Preliminary information indicates that Youngquist was working when he was shot during an attempted robbery, according to police.

A GoFundMe page was started to raise money for Youngquist's family. According to the page, he leaves behind a 5-year-old son and a girlfriend. The goal of the page is to raise $5,000 to help support the little boy.
