Man shot in the head; Harford County Officers investigate the homicide

The Harford County Sheriff’s detectives are looking for information regarding a homicide that happened early Sunday morning.

At a little before 4 a.m., deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 200 block of Perrywood Court in Aberdeen for a report of a gunshot and a male suspect lying on the sidewalk. Upon arrival, deputies located the male victim, Terrance David Sterrette, 36, of Aberdeen, dead with a gunshot wound to the head.

The investigation was picked up by detectives from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division. Investigators from the Forensic Services Unit responded to the area to collect and preserve physical evidence in support of the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing and there are no further details being released at this time.
