It took a jury four days and more than seven hours of deliberation to find 36-year-old Tyrone Thomas Nordine guilty of attempted murder.

Among many charges, after being tried twice, a jury found him guilty of a 2014 home invasion and death of a 35-year-old woman who was shot in the head twice inside her home.

According to Harford County officials say that during the incident, two suspects kicked in the front door, forced their way into the woman's bedroom, and shot her. They say two teenage children and a toddler were in the house and found unharmed. The woman was later transported to the hospital for treatment and was released. Police say they have been unable to locate her after her release.

The jury in Nordine's case found him guilty of attempted first-degree murder, home invasion, first-degree assault, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence or felony, and illegal possession of a regulated firearm.

Nordine faces a life sentence for the attempted murder and an additional 80 years in prison.
