Built on a top-rated golf course with home prices to match, Bulle Rock attracts some high-end buyers, but it was here back in February that a 13-year-old Essex girl claims a man almost three times her age, 37-year old Craig Michael Lascola, raped her.
The victim told police someone at the home had arranged for Green Sedan to transport her there in the wee hours of the morning to party with some friends and even gave her a pin number to the security gate to get in.
But according to charging documents, when the friends left for several hours, a man later identified as Lascola allegedly asked her if she wanted to have sex and she refused.
That's when he raped her, punching her in the legs and the stomach when she tried to fight him off.
She told investigators the bedroom had some sort of Christmas-type lights around the closet area, and when they later searched the home, it fit that description.
The alleged victim also picked Lascola's picture from a photo line-up and police traced the receipt for the sedan to the same man, prompting them to arrest him.
The suspect now faces rape and assault charges, but was released on his own recognizance the following day.
