Aberdeen Police said Friday the city has been "inundated" with requests to donate.

Anyone wishing to donate money can send a check payable to the City of Aberdeen, earmarked for the Victory Park Playground Restoration Effort.

The damage is estimated to be between $80,000 and $100,000. Arson is suspected.

The city of Aberdeen has offered a $500 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in the fire.
