Aberdeen Police search for Exxon robbery suspect

Aberdeen police are investigating an armed robbery that happened on the morning of August 6, 2017, at the Exxon on N. Philadelphia Boulevard.

The suspect walked into the store and told the cashier to get on the floor, then he repeatedly hit the cashier with his hand and a gun. After a brief struggle, the cashier ran away and left the store.

Officers were called to the Exxon around 5:20 a.m., they conducted a search but could not find the suspect.

Surveillance footage captured the incident, the police department is asking for the public’s help finding the suspect. He is described as a black male, about 250 lbs. and 5’9”.

Anyone with information on the incident or the suspect is asked to call the police.
