Maryland State Police are investigating the suspicious death of an eight-month-old baby.
Troopers from the Prince Frederick Barrack responded to a residence home Sunday morning after receiving a 911 call.
Medics and additional law enforcement personnel arrived, in an effort to save the baby’s life, but they were unsuccessful.
The infant's body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore to determine the cause of death.
This is an ongoing investigation lead by the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division.
