The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after shots were fired outside of an American Legion just after 1 a.m. Sunday. Officers with the Pocomoke Police Department responded to the area at 2017 Bypass Rd in Pokemoke where they were told multiple gunshots were fired.
Police say a woman was injured while sitting in her car; she was taken to the hospital with non-life injuries.
