Police in Wicomico County has arrested a Salisbury teacher involved in a month-long drug bust investigation.
Back in October the Sheriff’s Office identified Monica Snee as the target of an investigation into the selling of both heroin and prescription medications. The drug sales were made throughout Wicomico County including the grounds of Parkside High School where Snee taught.
On Tuesday just before 3:00 PM Snee’s car was stopped as she drove off of school grounds. During a search of her car deputies found over 100 capsules of heroin, hundreds of oxycodone pills and a few suboxone strips. Also found almost $3,000 in cash along with a supply of empty plastic baggies.
The 51-year-old was arrested and charged with the following:
* Possession of heroin
* Possession of heroin with the intent to distribute
* Possession of heroin with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone
* Possession of oxycodone
* Possession of oxycodone with the intent to distribute
* Possession of oxycodone with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone
* Possession of suboxone with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone
Snee's bond has been set at $50,000.
