7 arrested after fight at Ocean City's Boardwalk

\According to police, two groups of individuals were yelling obscenities and enticing each other at approximately 11:40 p.m. Saturday in the area of Worcester Street and the Boardwalk.

The argument drew a crowd of about 100 people. Officers attempted to arrest the two primary instigators and both resisted arrest. More officers were called to the scene at which point more group members become involved and uncooperative. 

Officers used TASERs to gain compliance and disperse the crowd. Ocean City Police arrested seven individuals: Kameron J. Christopher, 18, of Delmar, Delaware; Allen D. J. Nelson, 19, of Salisbury, Maryland; Luis A. Pirela Linares, 20, of Salisbury, Maryland; Aaron G. Waples, 19, of Berlin, Maryland; Jakhai N. Woodard, 18, of Berlin, Maryland; a 16-year-old male from Delmar, Delware; and a 15-year-old male of Snow Hill Maryland.

The juveniles were released their parents. Christopher and Ward were transferred to the Worcester County Jail on $5,000 bound. Waples was transferred to the Worcester County Jail and held without bond. Nelson and Piera Linares were released on personal recognizance.
