ELKTON, Md. — A Cecil County pimp was indicted Thursday on charges of child human trafficking and child pornography.

According to United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Robert K. Hur, 40-year-old Xavier Lee, also known as "X," ran an illegal prostitution business for financial gain for 6 years, which included a website to advertise and promote the business.

Lee allegedly restricted the website's full content to viewers, such as women's profiles before receiving memberships and other requested documentation. He operated his prostitution sting renting rooms at hotels in Elkton.

The charging documents stated that in April 2013 he trafficked a minor female for commercial sex acts, from which he financially benefited and in September 2013 and May 2014, he produced and appeared in two videos documenting the sexual abuse of another minor female victim, who was 15 and 16 years old at the time of the abuse.

If convicted, Lee faces a maximum sentence of five years in federal prison.
