MOUNT AIRY, Md. (WMAR) — Police are looking to identify a man in connection to an attempted theft at a Carroll County Walmart.
It happened on Tuesday around 2 p.m. at the Mount Airy location in the 200 block of E. Ridgeville Boulevard.
Employees told responding officers that a man and woman twice tried to steal robotic vacuums from the store.
In one of their attempts, the suspects tried to push a cart out with the stolen merchandise but were rebuffed by employees.
After two foiled attempts, the suspects left the location empty handed.
Mount Airy Police have released store surveillance footage of one of the suspects.
