Carroll County authorities are turning to the public to track down two convicted sex offenders who failed to register for the statewide registry.
Gary Wayne Smith Jr., 37, and Fernando Pineda-Diaz, 61, are both Tier III sex offenders, which is considered the most serious classification and comes with the requirement of quarterly registrations.
The Carroll County Sheriff's Office has issued active warrants for their arrests.
