TOWSON, Md. (WMAR) — A woman was taken into custody on Sunday night after an argument turned into domestic violence.

Baltimore County Police say a 46-year-old woman slashed her boyfriend in the face with a kitchen knife inside of an apartment in the unit block of Allegheny Avenue in Towson.

The 50-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital with a serious stab wound, but is expected to survive his injuries.

Police were able to arrest the suspect on scene. She has not yet been identified pending formal charges.
