UPDATE | The man police say rammed a stolen truck into the WMAR-TV station Tuesday told police he believes he is the reincarnation of King Tut and Jesus Christ, according to charging documents filed Wednesday in Baltimore County District Court.

Police said the suspect Vladimir Baptiste apparently suffered from mental illness as he shouted incoherently ramblings, and posted equally bizarre tweets over the hours that he barricaded himself in an editing suite at the station.

He was taken into police custody and transported to an area hospital for a mental health evaluation. He was formally charged with attempted murder Wednesday.

Baptiste, 27, of the 1700 block of White Oak Road, is charged with three counts of attempted second-degree murder, three counts of first-degree assault, unlawfully taking a motor vehicle and related burglary and theft charges, according to online court records.
