Baltimore County Police are investigating two separate shootings that took place on Monday night and Tuesday morning.

The first shooting was just after 5 p.m. in the 2900 block of Dunran Road in Dundalk. Police say two groups of people were passing and speaking to each other. During the exchange, things escalated and a man from one group shot a man from the other group.

The victim was able to flag down a ride and was taken to a fire station in Baltimore City, where he was given initial treatment and then taken to a hospital. Officials say the man has a life-threatening gunshot wound to his upper body, and they are still trying to collect information on the two suspects that left the scene.

The second shooting was around 1:30 a.m. in the area of Fairbrook Court and Helmsley Drive in Woodlawn. Police were called to a hospital in the area after a man walked in with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.

Police are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Both of these shootings are being investigated by the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit. Anyone who may have information on either of these incidents is encouraged to contact police by calling 410-307-2020.
