BALDWIN, Md. — Baltimore County Police are investigating an armed robbery that involved a suspect that was wearing a unicorn costume.

On Saturday, just after 5 a.m., officers were called to the High's store that's located in the 13500 block of Long Green Pike. When they arrived, officers were told that the suspect was dressed as a unicorn and was armed with a crowbar. It was also mentioned that the suspect fled the location in a silver passenger car.

While responding to the scene, a silver passenger car, driving in the opposite direction on Glen Arm Road, went right past those responding officers, so they turned around to locate the vehicle. After tracking the car down, officers found out that it had been involved in a single vehicle crash in the 14200 block of Manor Road.

As a result of that crash, two people were taken to an area hospital and detectives of the Baltimore County Police Criminal Investigations Bureau, Robbery Unit, are continuing to investigate their involvement with the robbery.

This is currently an active investigation.
