The suspect in a shooting that occurred near Franklin Square Hospital Tuesday has died.
Erwin J. Acree, 29, died from injuries sustained when he shot himself in a barricade in the unit block of North Woodington in Baltimore City Wednesday.

Acree was accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend Tuesday night. When police identified him as the suspect and located him, Acree refused to come out, creating a barricade situation. He later shot himself and was transported to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
