DUNDALK, Md. — Baltimore County Police have arrested the suspect that's responsible for Tuesday evening's domestic-related homicide.
At a little after 6:30 p.m., officers were called to the 1700 block of Brookeview Road after a concerned family member called 911 to report a possible homicide. Police entered the home and found the victim inside the bedroom suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
The victim, 47-year-old Janice Lynn Dipietrantonio, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The suspect, 51-year-old Kevin Anthony Dipietrantonio, who is also another family member of the victim's, was immediately taken into custody and has been charged with First Degree Murder. He is also being held on no bond status at the Baltimore County Detention Center pending a bail review hearing.
According to officials, the couple did have several prior domestic related incidents and it is believed that Tuesday's homicide was a result of their tumultuous relationship.
