A Baltimore County man faces attempted second-degree murder and other charges after police say he stabbed his girlfriend and another man.
Baltimore County Police said in a statement that officers responded around 2 a.m. Tuesday to a home in Cockeysville after a verbal argument between 30-year-old Ricardo Terrell Saunders Jr. and his girlfriend escalated.
Police say Saunders pulled out a knife and stabbed the woman, who was taken to a hospital with a life-threatening wound to her upper body. Police say she is in stable condition.
Police say Saunders also cut a 27-year-old man who tried to intervene. He was treated at a hospital and released.
According to the statement, Saunders is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
