Pellet gun used in rash of destruction in Essex, Dundalk

Between Friday night Feb. 24 and Sunday morning Feb 26, the Essex and Dundalk police precinct received more than 50 reports of property damage from a pellet gun. 

Baltimore County police are currently searching for the suspect(s) responsible for thousands of dollars in damage to residents' doors and windows. According to police, vehicle windows, storm doors, sliding glass doors and even the front window of a McDonald's on North Point Boulevard were reported damaged. 

The Essex precinct received 26 reports, while the Dundalk precinct received 34 calls, police said. 

Police are warning residents that similar crimes could occur over the weekend. Police are urging residents to stay alert and report any suspicious activity to police by dialing 911.
