Baltimore County Police reported to the scene of a murder-suicide in the 300 block of Crosby Road in Catonsville Wednesday morning.
Investigators believe an elderly man shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself. Officers were called to the couple's home just before 5:30 a.m. to check on their welfare.
On Wednesday afternoon, police identified those involved as Sally Koros Bauer, 72, and Severn Wallace Bauer, 77.
The incident is under investigation.
