Maryland State Police arrested a man and a woman after a road rage incident on the Capital Beltway.
Police said Eric Alfredo Arroyo, 26, and Courtney Leigh Fisher, 25, were charged after a 911 caller said they pointed a gun at another driver on I-495 and I-95 in Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties.
Troopers stopped Arroyo and Fisher’s Mitsubishi at I-83 and Warren Road, where they found a loaded 45 caliber, semi-automatic pistol with additional magazines and 30 rounds of ammunition. Police also recovered a loaded, .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol and 100 rounds of ammunition, along with marijuana.
A two-year-old child found in the car wasn’t harmed during the incident, and was turned over to family.
Both suspects were charged with multiple counts of unlawful possession of a firearm in a vehicle and civil possession of marijuana. They’re being held without bail.
