LANSDWONE, Md. — Baltimore County Police are investigating a stabbing that left a man injured Sunday in Lansdowne.

Police responded to the 3800 block of Hollins Ferry Road for a male victim suffering from at least one stab wound to his upper body.

The victim, police later identified as 44-year-old Alexander Maradiaga-Valleciyo, was taken to an area hospital where he is expected to survive his injuries.

Investigators determined that Maradiaga-Valleciyo and the suspect were arguing after getting out of the truck, in the parking lot of the Speedy Mart on Hollins Ferry Road. The suspect stabbed the victim and then fled the area. Detectives said they are actively investigating this crime and believe that this is an isolated incident.
