PERRY HALL, Md. — A man was arrested on Thursday shortly after robbing a Chick-fil-A in Perry Hall.

According to police, the incident occurred just after 1 p.m. Thursday. The suspect entered the business and announced an "armed robbery," and police say he threatened employees and demanded cash.

The suspect also pushed one employee out of his way before tearing the drawer out of the register and fleeing the scene with the cash drawer.

Witnesses then began calling 9-1-1 during the robbery, giving detailed descriptions of the suspect and his vehicle. Officers were able to locate and stop the suspect shortly after.

52-year-old Parrish Owens is charged with robbery, misdemeanor theft, and first and second degree assault. He remains held on no bail status following a bail review hearing this morning.
