The FBI has identified the robbery suspect involved in an hours-long standoff in Rosedale Thursday.
Michael Keith Swain, Jr., is accused of four armed robberies within the month of February, according to the FBI.
The first happened on Feb. 13 at the PNC bank on York Road in Lutherville. Two days later, the Wells Fargo Bank on E. Joppa Road in Parkville was robbed. The FBI said Swain robbed the 7-Eleven on Philadelphia Road in White Marsh on Feb. 21 and then hit the PNC Bank on Chapel Road in Perry Hall the next day.
On Thursday, Baltimore County police tracked Swain to the Deluxe Plaza Motel off Pulaski Highway in Rosedale. When officers attempted to serve an arrest warrant, Swain barricaded himself in one of the rooms for several hours. He eventually surrendered and was arrested.
Swain is currently being held without bail in Baltimore County.
