Baltimore County Police say a tree assisted in blocking a suspect from a bailout on Tuesday.

According to officials, homicide detectives were searching for the fifth suspect wanted in the November 2019 murder of Michael McCoy when they spotted him in a vehicle that he was driving.

The suspect led police on a pursuit that started on Dulaney Valley Road and ended in the 1200 block of Franklintown Road when a tree blocked the entire roadway. With nowhere to go, the suspect fled from the car and was arrested after a brief foot pursuit.

20-year-old Nasir Khalif George was charged with first-degree murder.
