Police in Baltimore County has charged a member of the Middle River Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company with possession of child pornography.

On Wednesday police received information that Adam Burgan had pornographic images on his laptop computer. Investigators were able to confirm the images and placed the 29-year-old under arrest.

The Essex man is being charged with three counts of possession of child pornography and has since been released on a $10,000 bond.

Middle River Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company has placed Burgan on administrative suspension as a result of the charges.
